The location of the hotel is beautiful, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and charming village. the rooms are clean, tidy, and full of country house charm. One guest mentioned a recently renovated room with a luxurious bathroom featuring a roll top bath and walk-in shower. the service is friendly and welcoming, with the staff going above and beyond to make guests feel at home. the breakfast is exceptional, with delicious food and a great variety of options to choose from.
Some guests have mentioned a lack of dog-friendly amenities, such as dog bowls and a larger area in the bar for dogs.

The exterior of the hotel was beautifully decorated with Christmas lights, creating a festive atmosphere. Inside, there was a cozy fire that greeted guests, adding to the warm and welcoming ambiance. The hotel had multiple comfortable sitting rooms of various sizes and styles, all beautifully decorated. The bedrooms were well-decorated and equipped, with comfortable beds and top-quality linen and toiletries. The breakfast was good, with fresh juice, fruit, toast, and coffee. The staff were helpful and accommodating, particularly with one guest who had dementia. The canapes and dinner were also excellent.
There were no negative aspects to mention. Everything about the hotel experience was perfect.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast options, including vegan choices, were excellent. We will return to hike Pen y Ghent and book this homely hotel again. Highly recommended.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

Nothing was to much trouble for the staff, they went out of their way to look after us, I took my disabled brother who was on a special diet and nothing was to much trouble for Dave the Chef, we had to cut our stay short because my brother was unwell, they even sent an email to ask me if he was any better after we had arrived home. Karen, Kerry and their team or a credit to The Traddock. I enjoyed my stay that much that I have booked to go back in October with my husband for a walking holiday. The food was fabulous and the beds were really comfortable Thank you
